About

Growing up in New England, I always had my sights set in the east. In Paris, France, to be exact. I scorned anything west of the Pennsylvania border (my apologies to 2/3 of the nation). Later, I fell in love with the German language and studied in Heidelberg, Germany for a semester in college, anticipating I’d find my future husband around the next cobblestoned corner. Thus, my life is a walking testimony to God’s sense of humor, since today I live quite happily in Montana with a husband of 20 years who has worn cowboy boots since he was three (despite his New England upbringing) and who completely butchers the pronunciation of most French and German words.

As the mother of two teenagers, I spend some time honing important skills like cooking, cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping…but let’s be honest–I spend more time in front of my laptop agonizing over my latest WIP. At the moment, that happens to be the sequel to TINSEL IN A TANGLE, which I hope will release in time for the 2021 Christmas season. When I’m not on mommy-duty and my WIP is being cantankerous, you can find me knitting or working on random crafts around the house or for my group of 16″ fashion dolls, Ellowyne Wilde (see one of my creations below). The closest I get to Europe these days is if I slide a favorite movie into the DVD player and opt for French in the Language Menu (I’d prefer German, but I’ll take what I can get).
